1. What MangaGloss Is

MangaGloss ("the Service") is a translation tool operated by GEOHOST LLC ("we", "us"). You upload images you already possess, and our system performs OCR, translation, inpainting, and typesetting. We are a processing tool, not a content host, library, or distributor. We never build a readable catalog of translated works.

2. User Content Ownership & Representation

You retain full ownership of any content you upload. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the uploaded content, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions from the copyright holder to use, translate, and modify it.
• Your use of the Service does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• You will not use the Service to distribute unauthorized copies of copyrighted material.

3. Limited License to Process

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, temporary license solely to process your images for the purpose of providing the translation service. This license:

• Exists only for the duration of processing and temporary storage (maximum 24 hours).
• Does not grant us any right to use, display, reproduce, or distribute your content for any other purpose.
• Terminates automatically when your files are deleted.

4. Automatic Deletion (24-Hour Policy)

All uploaded images and generated outputs are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload. We do not maintain any archive, cache, or backup of user content beyond this period. You are responsible for downloading your translated pages before they are deleted.

5. No Training on User Content

We do not use your uploaded images or translated outputs to train any machine learning models, AI systems, or any other automated learning systems. Your content is processed and then deleted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise NSFW (not safe for work), or that violates any applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation.
• Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or overload the Service.
• Resell or commercially redistribute access to the Service without written permission.

7. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle.com (our merchant of record). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard. Unused credits from subscriptions do not roll over. Credit packs never expire. Refund requests are handled per Paddle's refund policy.

8. DMCA & Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content processed through our Service infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy for takedown procedures.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee translation accuracy, uptime, or uninterrupted service. We are not responsible for any losses arising from translations produced by the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GEOHOST LLC's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
