How MangaGloss Works
MangaGloss is a translation tool, not a content host. Users upload their own images, which are processed (OCR, translation, inpainting, typesetting) and made available for download. All uploaded and generated files are automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not maintain a searchable library, catalog, or public gallery of translated works.
DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent) and believe that content processed through our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., job ID, URL, or description).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our DMCA agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or New Mexico if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the material within 10-14 business days unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We define a repeat infringer as any user who has been the subject of three or more valid DMCA takedown notices. Account termination under this policy is at our sole discretion.
Important Note: 24-Hour Auto-Delete
Because all uploaded and generated content is automatically deleted within 24 hours, most content referenced in a DMCA notice may already be removed by the time we receive the notice. We will still process the notice and take appropriate action regarding the user's account.
